About Us

Hi there! My name is Amy and I am the owner/designer/ and the busy hands knitting and crocheting many of your orders. I was a special education teacher for five years and 2nd grade teacher for two years.  When I got pregnant with our first daughter, I wanted to find a way to stay home and raise our child.

When my first daughter was a baby, we took a trip to the Oregon Coats and I made matching hats for us. It was such a special feeling to twin with my mini, I knew other moms would want to feel the same. That's how Pine + Poppy started! Today we still make all of our hats in sizes for the whole fam so everyone can match! 

I am proud to say this small business now has many women across the US on our knitting team! All of the items we offer are handmade by women in the US.
